The grand final was held at The Broadfield Park Hotel on Friday 20 November. Finalists walked the stage twice, once in dress of their choice and once in swimsuit of their choice.
The prize for the winner, worth over £2000:
- Hair care and products from Greg Couzens for a year
- Clothes from Denis Hope
- Clothes from 25 Ten Boutique
- Lingerie from Chantilly
- Make over and photo shoot at The Studio
- Bouquet from Funky Floral Design
The four judges at the grand final were:
Pauline Journeaux - Managing Director, Rochdale Online
Magda Haroon - Make Up Artist at The Studio, Rochdale
Oliver Hope - Denis Hope Clothing, Rochdale
Greg Couzens - Greg Couzens Hair Salon, Rochdale
Compere for the evening was Paul Turner-Mitchell of 25 Ten Boutique, Rochdale.
The final also featured a fashion show by Denis Hope, 25 Ten Boutique and Chantilly.
Rules
- Entrants must be over the age of 18 as of 1 October 2009.
- Entrants must reside in the Rochdale Metropolitan Borough and have done so since 1 July 2009 (finalists will be required to show proof). University students residing away from home but with a family base in Rochdale may enter.
- Photos may be professionally taken.
- The judge’s decision is final.
- One vote per person - anyone sending multiple votes will have their votes automatically disqualified.
- Employees/Agents of Rochdale Online are not eligible.
- A valid email address is required as email addresses must be validated for votes to count.
- Prizes are non-transferable; the prize will be awarded to the person named as winner at the grand final and must be collected from Rochdale Online.
- The winner will be published on the Rochdale Online web site and by entering the competition you agree to this publicity.
