Miss Rochdale 2009

My name is Alexandra Hughes, I am 19 years old and I live in Wardle, Rochdale.
I have lived in Rochdale all my life, and attended Wardle High School.

I am a Uk size 10 and I am 5ft 4.

I have done some modelling work before, mostly amateur work and have taken part in Miss Manchester 2009, and was one of the finalists, where I met Caprice and lots of other celebs!

I think I would a great spokes person and representative of Rochdale, as I have grew up in the town and know how people feel, especially young people, growing up in the area. I also have many ideas on how we can grow and develop the town to help the people who live here. I could also be a great role model for girls as I have completed my GCSEs and have 3 A-levels and have gone on to fulfill my dream career as I am now in my first year of doing a Primary Teacher course at Manchester Metropolitan University.

I am a bubbly, bright and happy character who (I have been told) has an infectious laugh and smile.
