Miss Rochdale 2009

Aged 18 from Rochdale.

I have lived in Rochdale all my life. I grew up in Norden and later moved up to Rooley Moor not far from Lane Head. Although there are good parts to Rochdale there are also bad and all my life my parents shadowed me from seeing the bad. I always thought Rochdale was a fantastic place to live. Until i finished school and I saw how bad some parts actually are. I think I should be your next Miss Rochdale because I want to make a difference into making all of Rochdale a great place to be and live in.

I am currently at Hopwood Hall College in Middleton doing a Sport Btec National Diploma. I enjoy my course and am always brightening people's days with my sense of humour.
I want to progress to university to do a sport related degree and then on to be a P.E teacher. I believe with my will power and motivation I will easily do this. I am on the cheerleading squad which i have put together with the help of a teacher and I am also on the leadership academy at college.

I am always very lively, cheerful and energetic. I always look on the good side of things even if it is hard to find one. And I am just a generally happy person.
