Miss Rochdale 2009

Im 18 years old and have lived in Littleborough all of my life.

Im primarily a 'Dancer and Dance Teacher' for Samba Dance and Fitness in Whitworth, but I also have two other jobs working in a night club and a cocktail bar. I have some modeling experience, mostly doing beauty shoots for make up and hair brands, I have also previously done quite a bit of promotional work for nightclubs and car shows.

I think that I would be a good representative of Rochdale as I am not the 'Stereotypical' tear-away teenager that supposedly inhabits Rochdale. Rochdale has had bad publicity in the past, and some people would now say that it's not a nice place, but it only takes one person to take a close look, and they will see that Rochdale is just like any other town, and most of the people here are good.

I gained excellent GCSE results (all between A*-C), I then went on to pass my National Diploma in Performing Arts with 3 distinctions, levels 1&2 in NCFE Stagecraft, Level 1&2 ICT Keyskills and finally my Student Professional Dance Teachers Examination. I think this sets a good example for future generations.

I love going out and socialising in my spare time and meeting with friends.
