Members Meeting
Rochdale Hornets will be holding a members meeting on Wednesday 6 March, at the Co-OP museum on Toad Lane, Rochdale, 7.00pm-8.30pm.

We will outline the plans for the membership scheme going forward, and also be ready to take cash/cheque payments on the night to renew your membership.

Rochdale Hornets is unique in the professional Rugby League world and the eyes of the game are on us. Even more so in 2013 which sees the club working in partnership with arguably the best known Rugby League club in the game, Saint Helens RLFC. We’ve established a formidable coaching team in Ian Talbot and Matt Calland both with one unified objective; to win. Help us to move on to bigger and better things.

Please renew your membership, every single penny we raise goes to making us a more competitive club.

Championship 1 has never been so competitive. We need everyone to put in a big effort. Please do your bit. £20 for Standard membership or as little as £5 a month for Bronze membership will go a long way to help us achieve our objective for this season. If everyone could upgrade to a Silver membership paying £10 per month it would generate an additional £10,000 putting Rochdale Hornets on a very secure financial footing.

So on behalf of everyone at Rochdale Hornets; the squad, the coaching team and backroom staff and everyone who works so hard to put a team on the field every week, I can say that your continued support is very much appreciated and we look forward to winning together in 2013, and hope to achieve promotion to the Championship for the 2014 season.

Fiji coming to Spotland- to face Hornets!

Subject to International Federation clearance, Rochdale Hornets are delighted to announce they will be facing the Fiji Bati team on Sunday 20th October in a RL World Cup Warm up game.

Tickets will be limited to 1000, with season ticket holders admitted FREE.

Members have until 31st August to reserve their tickets, by calling into the office and paying the standard £12 match fee (£5 u16).

Any remaining tickets will go on general sale after this date.

Dining still available!

There are still limited places left at Sunday’s pre match dining.

We at Hornets have also been successful with our bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for £52000 to complete a year long project that will help preserve Hornets Heritage long into the future, as well as research the historical Fiji link and the history of school and amateur rugby league in the town.

This will be great for the club and community as we gear up to the Fiji Vs Ireland RLWC game here at Spotland.

More information will follow at the lunch and, with numerous ex players invited; we hope to start the season in style!

Tickets are £20 for a 2 course carvery and match tickets.

Upcoming Events

We have many exciting events coming up over the year, including a 'Ladies Night' on 5 April, the Swarm Tag Festival on 18 May, 20/20 Cricket Challenge in July, as well as a World Cup themed sportsman dinner, co-incising with Hornets playing Fiji in a World Cup warm up match, and the end of season dinner on 25 August.

World Cup Hospitality

Packages have now been confirmed for the Fiji Vs Ireland RLWC2013 game, with Hornets acting as an agent on behalf of the World Cup.

The Gold Boxes package includes Private Box, 2 course meal, Category 1 ticket, RLWC 2013 gift, Cash bar, Match day host, Players & Match day souvenir programme and costs £60 p/h.

The Gold package contains 2 course meal, Category 1 ticket, RLWC 2013 gift, Cash bar, Match day host, Players & Match day souvenir programme and costs £55 p/h.

Fanzone tickets, including Bowl food, Cat 2 ticket, Cash Bar, Match day host & Players appearance cost £25 p/h.
