Boxing: Connor Burton wins national title

North West boxing Champ Connor Burton has boxed his way to another national title win.
Burton, who boxes for Middleton Select ABC in Langley along with his twin, Callum, won the Greater Manchester Girls and Boys Clubs of England national boxing title on Thursday (30 November).
He defeated opponent Lewis Southgate by a unanimous point decision at the Gorton Monastery event.
Burton will now be invited to the England boxing assessment camp in Sheffield to compete internationally.
Head Coach, Martyn Lynch said: “Connor won a very hard fight and I am so proud of him.“
