Police appeal after serious sexual assault

Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Police officers investigating a serious sexual assault in Alkrington Woods on Monday 11 November are appealing to the public for assistance.
The incident occurred between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm in the popular woodland area, which is frequently visited by residents from both Middleton and Rochdale.
Greater Manchester Police have released an image of a man they believe could provide vital information to assist in their enquiries.
Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact GMP by calling 101 and quoting log 2400 of 11/11/2024.
