Police operation results in drug dealing and unlicensed driving arrests
Date published: 09 October 2024
As part of Operation Coronagraph, five arrests were made
Officers from the Kirkholt and Castleton neighbourhood policing teams were out in force last weekend, focusing on the Kingsway and Queensway loops of the Kirkholt estate.
As part of Operation Coronagraph, five arrests were made, ranging from drug dealing to unlicensed driving and public order offences. The action, say officers, aims to send a clear message to those who consistently flout the law.
"We will continue to flush out these offenders and put the confidence back in the residents of Rochdale," stated a police spokesperson.
The operation marks the latest effort to tackle criminal activity in the area.
