Heritage Open Days - Middleton Heritage Trails, Saturday & Sunday

Covering 24 sites, each with their own fascinating story, you can do the trail in one go or follow one of three shorter routes. As part of the national Heritage Open Days celebration, guided walks of these trails will be taking place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September.

The borough of Rochdale is ready to celebrate its fantastic architecture and heritage with the return of the National Heritage Open Days festival, running from Friday 6 September - Sunday 15 September.

Gallery Exhibitions - Littleborough Coach House, Friday & Saturday 10am – 3pm

Rochdale Photograph Society. Exhibitions are generally mounted in the Heritage Room and Victoria Room gallery spaces and each lasts for approximately one month, with a week's gap to allow for artist changeover.

Blood donation session - The Ashcroft, Whitworth, 10.50pm - 5pm

Rochdale Ramblers - In search of the legendary waterfall, 1pm

Walk distance = 5 miles. This is a leisurely walk and we will be making our way south from Norden towards Naden Brook in search of the waterfall near the old Ashworth Mill.
