Officers have made 13 arrests and charged five people in relation to the disorder outside Rochdale police station in July.

Greater Manchester Police are still looking to identify 25 people as part of operation Milnthorpe - with three from the disorder outside the town centre station.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident and identify individuals who were present after turbulent scenes outside Rochdale Police Station on 25 July.

CCTV images of people they wish to speak to in connection with the disorder have been released, following a viral video appearing to show a police officer kicking a man in the head at Manchester Airport.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We are investigating an outbreak of disorder which took place outside Rochdale police station on Thursday 25 July 2024 and are seeking to identify the following people as part of our investigation.

"If you recognise the people pictured, please get in touch with police through the MIPP portal.

"Alternatively, contact us on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting Operation Milnthorpe."
