Appeal to trace wanted man for recall to prison

Greater Manchester Police have issued an urgent appeal to the public as they intensify their search for Leon Lewis, a 36-year-old man who is currently wanted on recall to prison.

Authorities are actively seeking information on Lewis's whereabouts, urging anyone with knowledge of his location to come forward.

Leon Lewis, born on January 9, 1988, is known to have strong connections to several areas within Greater Manchester, including Rochdale, Middleton, and Heywood.

These areas are now the focus of the ongoing manhunt, as officers work tirelessly to bring him back into custody.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Greater Manchester Police at 0161 856 8539. Alternatively, those who wish to remain anonymous can provide information to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.

The police appreciate the public's cooperation in this matter and are hopeful that the community’s support will lead to the successful apprehension of Leon Lewis, ensuring public safety and bringing him back to prison where he is required to serve the remainder of his sentence.
