Rochdale Hornets v Midlands Hurricanes – Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off

Founded in 1871, Rochdale Hornets are one of the original 22 rugby clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union, making them one of the world's first rugby league clubs.

Rochdale Ramblers – A Ripponden Round, 10am

Walk distance = 8 miles. National Grade: Moderate. From the car park at Baitings Dam, the walk follows the Ryburn River into Ripponden and then sections of the Calderdale Way to Great Manshead before returning to Baitings.
