“No further action” against woman arrested on suspicion of murder after man, 27, found dead in Kensington Street house

No further action will be taken against a woman arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a house on Kensington Street on Friday afternoon (21 July).
Police were called to the address after a report of concern for the welfare of a man and found a 27-year-old man inside.
Shortly afterwards, he was sadly pronounced dead by emergency services.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene.
Police have confirmed the man’s death is now being treated as non-suspicious after further investigation and a post-mortem.
A spokesperson said: “However, following further investigation and a Home Office post-mortem, the death is now being treated as non-suspicious and no further action will be taken against the woman in this case.
“Officers continue to support the man’s family and provide reassurance to the local community.”
