Mike Goldrick has been named as this year’s president of Rotary Heywood 2020.
The Heywood businessman was named president on 5 July as outgoing president Shelley Briggs handed the reins over.
Shell Worthington became the new president elect.
A spokesperson for Rotary Heywood 2020 said: “Thanks Shelley for another successful Rotary year, good luck Mike and Shell and here’s to a great new Rotary year, of fun, laughter and plenty of fundraising.”
Rotary International in Great Britain & Ireland is a membership and humanitarian service organisation. Through membership of their local Rotary club, members use their time and talents to make a difference in their own communities and around the world.
There are two clubs in Heywood; Rotary Heywood 2020 and the older Rotary Club of Heywood.
