Sponsored peloton bike race raises over £400 for new school football kit

The sponsored peloton at Newhey Community Primary School
Newhey Community Primary School has raised over £400 toward a new football kit for the school team.
Children and staff alike took part in a sponsored peloton race at the school on Friday 23 June.
The bike was continuously pedalled of the school from the first bell at 8.45am right up until the end of the school day at 3.15pm.
Deputy headteacher Dawn Garrity said everyone “had lots of fun and it was a great success.”
