Two taken to hospital after car flips in collision

Two passengers in a car were taken to hospital on Thursday (22 June) after a car rolled onto its roof in a collision on Oldham Road, Rochdale.
Just before 10.30am, firefighters were called to the two-car collision where they made the vehicles safe.
Paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service assessed the passengers at the scene before taking them to Rochdale Infirmary with neck and back injuries and one with cuts to the legs.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "One fire engine from Rochdale Fire Station quickly attended the scene where one of the cars had rolled onto its roof.
“Crews made the vehicles and the scene safe and were in attendance for around an hour.”
