Springhill Hospice Sunflower Appeal ditches plastic for card

Date published: 08 June 2023

The annual Springhill Hospice Sunflower Appeal has replaced its plastic-based sunflower plaques with a more environmentally conscious card alternative for 2023.

The annual Sunflower Appeal gives you the opportunity to honour those who have touched your lives by making a donation to Springhill Hospice.

The beautiful new card dedication is perfect to hang within your home, and an additional tribute card will be hung on the Springhill Sunflower Trail, in your loved one's honour.

The new celebratory Sunflower Trail will open for all to enjoy at the hospice's annual Summer Garden Celebration on 6 August, and will remain on display until 1 September, allowing you to visit at a time that suits you.

A spokesperson for the hospice said: "Springhill would like to thank everyone for their incredible support so far.

"By remembering your loved one with a donation to Springhill’s 2023 Sunflower Appeal, you will be helping to ensure that patients receive specialist hospice care and feel safe and comforted in their greatest time of need."
