Nominate a Heywood & Middleton constituency Volunteer of the Year

Date published: 22 May 2023

Chris Clarkson MP is asking constituents in Heywood & Middleton to nominate a local volunteer or organisation to be named the 2023 Volunteer of the Year.

2023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week (1-7 June) and Chris would like to recognise the hard work and service of volunteers in the constituency.

He has created a form on his website where constituents can nominate a volunteer organisation or individual in Heywood, Middleton, Bamford, Norden or Castleton.

Nominations will be accepted until 11 June with the winner announced the week commencing 12 June.

The nomination form can be accessed on:

Mr Clarkson said: “Volunteers make so many remarkable contributions to our communities. This award is dedicated to them and to recognise their hard work and dedication.”
