Man, 22, charged with sexual assault of woman in Stockport

A 22-year-old man has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Stockport.
William Rooney, 22, of Rochdale, has been charged with sexual assault.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on Tuesday (6 December).
This was in relation to an investigation following a report of an assault of a female on Wednesday 30 November 2022 at Grimshaw Street in Stockport.
