Springhill’s annual Christmas Tree Collection service is back for 2023

Date published: 26 November 2022

Springhill’s annual Christmas Tree Collection service is back for 2023: the hospice team will be out all across the borough, collecting Christmas trees from Friday 6 – Monday 9 January 2023.

For a minimum donation of £10, Springhill will collect your tree from outside your property, and take it to the hospice where it will be recycled and turned into chippings to be used in the hospice gardens. Sustainability is extremely important to Springhill Hospice, so recycling and repurposing the old trees is the ideal post-Christmas solution.

Postcodes eligible for Christmas tree collection are: OL1, OL2, OL10, OL11, OL12, OL14, OL15, OL16, M24.

The Christmas tree collection service not only provides vital funds to support hospice care, it also helps to dispose of the used trees in an environmentally-friendly way; recycling them for a new use, which also benefits the hospice grounds. This year it is sponsored by Perfect Mortgages.

Springhill is also currently looking for additional volunteers with vans to help collect the trees. If you would like to help, please contact Springhill Hospices’ Fundraising Team on 01706 641790.
