Get ready to test your Christmas music knowledge, a festive trail is coming to Rochdale Town Centre and there are prizes up for grabs.

Rochdale BID, in partnership with the LoyalFree app, presents The Quizmas Lyric Trail which will run from 1 December 2022 until 1 January 2023.

This free interactive activity invites participants to jingle all the way along the trail, stopping at locations where they will be met with lyrics to famous festive songs, but some of the words are missing.

Play along with friends and family to try and guess the missing lyrics. A group sing-along to jog your memory may help. Scan to ‘check-in’ and reveal the answers and see who got it right.

Can you guess this one? “It’s the most wonderful time of the year. With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you ______”.

Participants are encouraged to carol their way along the trail, scanning the QR codes at each location, those who take part in the trail will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three vouchers for a Rochdale BID Business of your choice, with winners receiving £50, £40 or £30. The more QR codes scanned, the more chances of winning!

BID Manager, Paul Ambrose said: “Following the success of the Halloween trail we jumped at the chance of working with LoyalFree again to offer the Quizmas trail. The trail will encourage participants to spend time with their friends and family testing their music knowledge as they make their way around our town centre which looks amazing at this time of the year.”
