Disqualified driver jailed for 18 months after high-speed police chase

A disqualified driver has been jailed for 18 months after a high-speed police pursuit in Rochdale on Tuesday (4 October).
Intekhab Ghulam, 24, was arrested for a number of offences including driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.
The incident saw police follow a car after a fail-to-stop collision on Ramsay Street, before it was abandoned on a section of Yorkshire Street near Elliott Street.
