Shocking footage of the occupants of a car lighting a box of fireworks and dangerously dumping them on Milkstone Road just before midnight on Tuesday (25 October) has been caught on CCTV.
The footage shows the fireworks being ignited and thrown onto the ground from the passenger window. The car drives off just seconds before the fireworks begin to blast off all over the street.
It is extremely fortunate that no-one appears to have been injured, although Mohammed Yousaf, owner of Auto Shop, says nearby residents were left shaken by the incident.
A spokesman for GMP said anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
