Hopwood Hall College Apprenticeships Open Evening is being held at the Middleton campus
Hopwood Hall College is showcasing the exciting world of apprenticeships during an upcoming event.
The college is inviting both prospective trainees and local employers to its highly anticipated Apprenticeships Open Evening held at the Henry West Building on its sprawling Middleton Campus.
It will take place from 4.30pm-7pm on Thursday 10 February – with visitors welcome to stop by and see what’s on offer at any point.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to speak to the expert employer services team, meet the work based tutors and hear about the live vacancies.
A number of local businesses will also be there to answer questions and share their experience of taking on an apprentice.
The apprenticeship route is famous for offering people the opportunity to ‘earn as they learn’ and is a popular pathway for individuals of all ages.
With a reputation for success, there’s really no better place to complete one than at Hopwood Hall College.
The college works with more than 400 employers and in the past two years alone has provided training for hundreds of apprentices of different skill levels.
This includes pathways such as catering and hospitality, education and childcare, and business and professional.
In addition, there are a number of routes where training takes place at the college’s state-of-the-art Technology Centre, such as engineering and manufacturing, construction and trades, and motor vehicle.
The biggest testament to the college’s thriving training schemes is that it’s now offering its first national apprenticeship.
The Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Apprenticeship can be undertaken from anywhere in England – showing the countrywide demand for learning at Hopwood.
The college will be highlighting this and much more during the upcoming event that is being held to mark the celebrations for National Apprenticeship Week 2022.
Julia Heap, Principal and CEO of Hopwood Hall College, said: “There really are so many amazing aspects of apprenticeships – whether it’s through boosting a person’s career prospects or allowing an employer to grow their business.
“We’re so proud to lead the way when it comes to offering stellar training programmes which allow both individuals and employers to seize the opportunities on the horizon.
“Come and join us for this event and you’ll come away knowing everything you need to know about apprenticeships!”
Last year Chris Clarkson, MP for Heywood and Middleton, choose Hopwood to train his new Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice.
Mr Clarkson described the college’s employer services team at ‘engaged, dedicated and knowledgeable’ after they helped him to source the perfect candidate for the role.
