Return of the Rochd'ale' Co'hop'erative Ale Trail
Date published: 14 November 2021
The ale trail is back!
Ten venues, five days and over 100 ales and ciders can only mean one thing: the Rochd’ale’ Co’hop’erative Ale Trail is returning this month!
We certainly know a thing or two about good beer – and great pubs – here in Rochdale, proper beer in proper pubs and bars, so you won't find a better offer anywhere else. Enjoy an ale in all ten venues to collect a unique commemorative glass and ale trail t-shirt.
The event, organised by Rochdale Business Improvement District (BID) will run from Wednesday (17 November) until Sunday (21 November 21), and is supported by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Paul Ambrose, BID Manager for Rochdale, said: "The town centre is renowned for its extensive cask ale offer and, despite the pandemic, it continues to grow with new openings such as D’Ale House, Hoochi Koochi and Hogarths.
“What impresses me the most is that all the participating pubs and bars are genuine community venues where people from all walks of life come together to socialise.
"While each of the pubs and bars offers something unique to their visitors, they all share the foundation of what makes them great - a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and a fantastic range of cask ales and ciders.
"It's been an incredibly tough 18 months for the hospitality sector and the ale trail is the perfect way of showcasing these fantastic pubs and bars, whilst sampling some of the very best ales and ciders along the way.
"I also thank CAMRA for supporting this event."
Dubbed the Rochd'ale Co'hop'erative Ale Trail, the participating venues are as follows:
- The Baum. Toad Lane
- The Medicine Tap, The Esplanade
- The Flying Horse Hotel, Packer Street
- The Regal Moon, The Butts
- Cask and Feather, Drake Street
- Hogarths, The Butts
- The Pint Pot, Baillie Street
- D'Ale House, Drake Street
- Hoochi Koochi, South Parade
- Bombay Brew, Drake Street
Post snaps of your ale trail drinks and stamps to be within a chance of winning a meal for two from a town centre venue. There are five meals for two to be won.
A winner will be chosen each day of the Ale Trail, so post straight away to either RochdaleAleTrail or email paul@rochdalebid.co.uk
