Rochdale Wedding Show will soon be staged at the four star Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa, and final preparations are well under way, with brides and grooms from across the region set to descend on the town.

The free to attend must-see show for soon-to-be betrothed couples and wedding-related businesses will be staged on Sunday 5 September from 11am to 4pm. Organisers Rochdale Borough Council have planned another spectacular line-up, bringing around 35 of the borough’s creative, stylish and inspiring suppliers together alongside fashion models, music and much more. Outside there’ll be a collection of contemporary wedding cars that will get you to your venue in style. Inside the Norton Grange, itself a prestigious wedding destination there will be experts specialising in everything from dresses to decorations, flowers and wedding planning to photography, musical entertainment, rings, music, beauty, cakes, invitations, menswear, venue dressing, honeymoons and more. There will also be exclusive discounts and special offers available.

No need to book tickets, just turn up and browse!

Put the doom and gloom of the last year behind you for one day and spend a Sunday surrounded with all things 'wedding'. In between, you can buy lunch or afternoon tea in the elegant Grange Restaurant, or relax in the less formal atmosphere of the Pickwick Bistro.

There’ll also be a complimentary glass of prosecco and canapés, for visitors aged 18 or over.

Visitors will get the chance to see the spa facilities, indoor pool, thermal suite and beauty suites as well as the leisure facilities and newly refurbished luxury bedrooms.

Models from Bespoke Wedding Boutique will be wearing a range of designer outfits throughout the day, highlighting the latest stunning collections of wedding wear, and you’ll be able to see them all up close!

Staff will be on hand to offer you advice and answer questions.​ Whether you're looking for something traditional, would prefer a more contemporary theme or a civil ceremony, they will help you put together your perfect wedding.​

Councillor Sue Smith, cabinet member for communities and co-operation said: “I’m so pleased to see this popular event return and move to a fabulous new venue whilst the town hall undergoes restoration. Planning a wedding can be hard work but over the years this show has given thousands of couples the help and guidance they need to plan the perfect day. It will certainly be a couple of hours well spent for brides and grooms, their friends and families. You’ll get lots of ideas to spark your imagination, helping create an unforgettable day. As always, it’s completely free to attend. A visit will save you many weeks of effort and you’ve nothing to lose.”

Rochdale Wedding Show is at the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa on Sunday 5 September, doors open at 11am. You can also get free parking at the venue.
