Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Head of Skills, Louise Timperley
Following hard on the heels of recent senior staff announcements and a major re-brand, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce today announces the appointment of a Head of Skills, Louise Timperley.
Louise brings a wealth of relevant experience to the newly created role. She has led apprenticeship delivery for a national training provider, and been an executive board member on the Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network for a number of years, and is looking forward to getting involved in the local skills landscape at such an exciting time.
The appointment is to help deliver the Chamber’s Employer Ownership of Skills programme. Over recent months the skills team - under Director of Employer Engagement and Membership, Mark Hayes - has grown with the hiring of Michael Clark as Funding and Contracts Manager, and Rachel Shorrock as Provider Engagement Manager.
