In 1988, trained electrician Peter Harrop set up Hopwood Electrical Services; a family-run business to provide expert, affordable electrical designs and installations to homes and the private sector across the North West.

Mr Harrop says: “We’ve recently been successful in securing a contract with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) for two refurbishment schemes; Derek Walker Court and Thistley Fields.

“We design , install and maintain installations to the health and welfare, hotel and liciencing trade also refurbishment projects on sheltered accommodation and social housing units on behalf of the council and have a wealth of experience designing and installing electrical systems to office, factories and schools.”
