PDS strengthen commitment to their customers

Performance Doorset Solutions (PDS) has announced an expansion in capacity with an investment in a 6 figure state of the art semi-automatic paint line and factory expansion to accommodate the new line.

The paint line will enable quicker production times and a 30% increase in overall paint capacity.

Reorganisation of the factory facilities will enable a 50% increase in window manufacturing.

The new factory space will also accommodate an area for a showroom  for PDS to display their door and window ranges.

The company has also expanded its management team with the introduction of two new members of staff, Pat Rice has been appointed as Commercial Director, having joined the PDS team from Inwido UK, where he worked as a Sales Director for 3 years. He has also worked for companies such as Speedframe, Saint-Gobain and Jewson, therefore bringing with him a wealth of industry knowledge. Mr Rice has extensive experience with dealing with large budgets and key high volume clients, building relationships which are mutually beneficial to both the clients and the company.

Karen Barker has stepped into the new position of Customer Service Manager to help develop and manage the company’s processes and customer facing activities - both roles will concentrate on the builders merchants' market.

Tim Fairley, Managing Director at PDS said: "We felt that it was the right time for us to invest money into the business.

"The new paint line will provide a great platform to increase efficiency, as well as expand the business.

"All of the expansion decisions we have made have been in the interest of our customers, ensuring we continue to provide them with the best possible service."
