Carpenter UK’s Oldham factory has donated £3,000 worth of bedding to two local hospices.
Toppers and pillows from the company’s ‘sleep better’ product range were presented to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice at Turf Road, Royton and Springhill Hospice on Broad Lane, Rochdale.
“Both hospices are a special part of the local community and are heavily reliant on donations and fundraising from the community”, said Neil Uttley of Carpenter. “As part of that community we are delighted to have been able to support the tremendous contribution they both make.”
The company presented six memory foam toppers and eight memory foam pillows to Sister Kay O’Neil at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. Sister Ann Grey accepted 12 memory foam toppers and 12 memory foam pillows on behalf of Springhill Hospice.
