Fire Up, a new co-working space near Rochdale train station, will officially open on Monday 3 October.
Fire Up occupies the floor above the Fireground Museum, with its own entrance on Maclure Road, and offers tailored office space, with bookable hot desks, pods, offices and meeting rooms, free Wi-Fi, breakout spaces and a kitchen area.
There is also an on-site café run by the Fireground Museum which offers both hot and cold food and drink.
The co-working space - located directly opposite the Metrolink stop and less than 200m from Rochdale train station - is aimed at local entrepreneurs from start-ups and small businesses, particularly in the digital and creative industries with superfast wifi and a modern and functional design. This is all provided at a cost to users to encourage full use of the facilities at Fire Up.

We are confident that our offer is one of the best in Greater Manchester.”
Entrepreneurs using the space will not only benefit from the facilities but also from the chance to meet other people working in similar areas and the chance to network. With Fire Up also comes access to find out about and how to access all of the help that GC Business Hub can offer them.
Councillor John Blundell, Cabinet Member for Economy and Communications at Rochdale Borough Council and RDA Board member, said: “Rochdale is really coming into its own. Fire Up sits at the heart of the of the Rochdale Rail Corridor, it is just 15 minutes to Manchester city centre and has direct trains to all the major conurbations including London. I am delighted that this fantastic facility is opening, and I would welcome all businesses and individuals to come and try it out.”
