New co-working space to open on 3 October

Fire Up occupies the floor above the Fireground Museum

Fire Up, a new co-working space near Rochdale train station, will officially open on Monday 3 October.

Fire Up occupies the floor above the Fireground Museum, with its own entrance on Maclure Road, and offers tailored office space, with bookable hot desks, pods, offices and meeting rooms, free Wi-Fi, breakout spaces and a kitchen area.

There is also an on-site café run by the Fireground Museum which offers both hot and cold food and drink.

The co-working space - located directly opposite the Metrolink stop and less than 200m from Rochdale train station - is aimed at local entrepreneurs from start-ups and small businesses, particularly in the digital and creative industries with superfast wifi and a modern and functional design. This is all provided at a cost to users to encourage full use of the facilities at Fire Up.

Fire Up sits at the heart of the of the Rochdale Rail Corridor, it is just 15 minutes to Manchester city centre and has direct trains to all the major conurbations including London. Facilities at Fire Up co-working space include individual desks, single booths or workspaces, office pods for up to six people as well as conference/meeting rooms for up to 10 people.
