Surridge Sport to supply all performance apparel for Hornets
Surridge Sport have won the tender to supply all performance apparel to Rochdale Hornets for the next three seasons.
Hornets CEO Ryan Bradley said: “The tender process was really competitive, with over 50 people expressing an initial interest.
“We wanted a supplier that could produce good quality gear in short lead times, a company that could really support us with our retail offer.”
Surridge are based 30 minutes from Spotland and hold massive stocks of retail items as well as producing all of the playing and replica shirts in the same factory.
Mr Bradley said: "Some of the technology they showed the panel was second to none and it especially blew the players away with the quality they offered.
"They are investing in becoming a major player in the rugby market and we are happy to give them the introduction to the rugby league professional ranks."
Charles Lord, Surridge Sport MD, commented: “We are thrilled to be working with a team as respected as Rochdale Hornets, and look forward to seeing the new kit in action.”
The Rochdale Rugby Shack, Hornets' retail arm, will offer a full range of leisurewear mirroring the first team training and match day wear, stocked in the shop at Spotland and online from 1 December, the date the 2016 home shirt is launched for pre order with guaranteed pre-Christmas delivery.
