Rochdale Aquabears - Manchester and District Team Relay Gala winners
The Rochdale Aquabears won the Manchester and District Team Gala on Sunday (4 October).
The Aquabears took home the win after scoring 110 points – putting them seven points in front of second place.
Fellow competitors Altringham scored 103 points, Radcliffe scored 60 points, Flixton scored 54 points and Bury and Elton scored 36 points.
Coach Dave Crouch said: “The noise from the supporters in the balcony was absolutely deafening, especially on the final relay.
“Well done to the swimmers and their supporting parents.”
Pamela Walsh, one of the supporting parents, added: “It was an amazing and close run final and the whole team gave it everything they had.”
