Norden seconds met Unsworth seconds
Date published: 07 September 2015
Senior cricket returned to Bamford Fieldhouse’s Hollin Lane ground on Sunday after a break of two years.
Due to extensive work being done on their Stag Park ground Norden seconds met Unsworth seconds at Bamford.
Dean Lord hit 34 in a modest Stags total of 125.
He then took five for 23 as Unsworth were shot out for 71, but was bettered in the bowling department by Adam Ahmed who had figures of 10.3-5-6-5.
Stags first team will meet Heywood at Bamford this coming Sunday.
It will be their last game of the season, their last to be played in the Central Lancashire League, and possibly Heywood’s last ever game against Norden, as the clubs will go different ways next season.
