Jordan Strand and Kenny Rowland have been selected for the Lancashire U17 Tri County Championship squad.
Strand and Rowland will take part in the championship this summer playing against Yorkshire and Cumbria.
Before then they will take part in Mayfield's NWML game on Saturday.
The game is at Accrington and Dave Harmer and Craig White will be hoping to put out a strong squad after a good showing away at Leigh Miners last week.
Saturday’s opponents are in the bottom half of the table and suffered heavy defeats in their last two outings and so are definitely beatable.
Mayfield have a good blend in the team with the U17 lads some U18s and older lads who have kept the team going through lean times.
Sean Hill, Billy and James Percy, Mark Nyland and Gearge Yewdale are all hoping to figure in the game and will all be hoping to register their first away points of the season.
Fixture
8 August
Accrington v Mayfield - kick off 2.30pm
