Pennine Cricket League to be officially launched
Date published: 27 July 2015
The Pennine Cricket League will be officially launched on Thursday 24 September.
The league is an alliance of the Central Lancashire and Saddleworth and District Leagues, and all 24 clubs who will start the first season have been invited to the launch at Oldham Athletic Football Club, 7.30pm.
The event, held in association with official league sponsors J Lees Brewers, will be limited to five people from each club. Numbers are restricted due to size of the venue. Each club will be able to decide which five.
Those who attend will be given an overview on where the steering committee is in the planning process, and there will be a chance for people to join one of the groups which will cover various aspects of cricket.
The formalities will be followed by a guest speaker.
A league website is being prepared, and more details will be announced soon.
