Matty Lund has signs contract extension
Matty Lund has become the latest player to commit his future to Rochdale Football Club.
The 24-year-old has penned a one year extension to his current contract, meaning he is now contracted to the club until the summer of 2017.
He is the second player to sign an extension this week, after Peter Vincenti put pen to paper on Monday.
Lund joined Dale in June 2013 and has made 63 appearance for Dale during his time at the club, despite missing much of the 2014-15 campaign with a shoulder problem.
He said: “I’ve enjoyed it here since the day I came into the club and I’m happy to have been offered the extension, said the midfielder.
“Last season was a bit up and down for me and it was just good to be back playing again.
“It shows that the manager has got faith in me by offering me a new contract so I’m really happy.”
