Littleborough Community Primary School ‘A’ Football Team
Littleborough Community Primary School ‘A’ Football Team won the ‘One Goal Tournament’ Rochdale Division.
They played against six other school and losing only one game, winning all others to win the tournament overall and progressing to the regional finals.
The team’s recent visit to watch an evening match at Old Trafford is being credited by the school as having given them all the techniques needed to succeed in the tournament!
A school spokesperson said: "The children were magnificent and officials praised their work ethic, attitude and commitment to fair play.
"We are incredibly proud of our fantastic football team.
"Fingers crossed for the school season ahead."
