Middleton Trampoline Club medal success

Middleton Trampoline Club (MTC) has walked away with a total of 19 medals after competing in the National Development Plan Qualification Event and the Trampoline Tariff Competition.

There were 13 entrants from the group in the Tariff competition with nine of those entrants competing for the first time.

The results for that section are as follows:

• Maliki Joyce won gold
• Emma Fowler won bronze
• Madison McGuiness won Silver
• Aiden Lowe won silver
• Ryan Howard won gold
• Kyle Robertson won gold
• Karon Tensel won gold
• Olivia Lee won gold
• Kallum Roberts won gold
• Samantha Divers won bronze
• Shani Tensel- Bennett won gold
• Adam Warburton won Silver

In the National Development Plan event, the following medals were won:

• Kyle Robertson won gold
• Karon Tensel won silver
• Olivia Lee won gold
• Kallum Roberts won silver
• Samantha Divers won bronze
• Shani Tensel- Bennett won gold
• Adam Warburton won gold

Francesca Holt was the group’s youngest competitor of the day aged just five years old. She was competing in her first competition.

The group’s oldest competitor was 50 year old Karon Tensel who secured a gold medal for the group.

Lisa Lee, Head Coach at Middleton Trampoline Club, said: “This was an amazing result and the day was an all round success for MTC.”

The group will be looking to continue their success when they compete at Robin Park, Wigan on Saturday 8 February. Lisa added: “The members are working hard in training for the next event and are looking forward to another exciting day.”

The group will also be taking part in the Trampoline Disability Development tournament in March with three members from MTC taking part.
