Rochdale Rugby League Heritage website live
Date published: 23 January 2014
The long awaited Rochdale Rugby League Heritage site is now live and ready to be explored.
Following on from the launch of the Heritage Room last week, rugby league fans from Rochdale and beyond can now explore the history of the game within the town, as well as contribute their own stories, photographs, documents and memories.
The initial project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and has funded the display cases, central archive and website to date. All of the projects four main themes (Rochdale Hornets post 1970, Community, Women’s RL, and the Fiji Link) still require your involvement and your stories.
If you have any stories from any of these themes and would like to share them, get in touch with the office at 01706 648 004 or email terri.davey@hornetsrugbyleague.com
The Heritage Room is now open for public viewing on weekdays from 10am until 4pm.
