Nominations wanted for Sports Awards

Do you know anyone who is involved in sport in the borough of Rochdale? Nominations are now open for this year’s Rochdale Borough Community Sports Awards 2010-2011. Anyone and everyone who is involved in sport can now nominate an ‘individual’ or ‘club’ for the awards.
The categories for nomination are:
- Club of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
- Sports Achiever of the Year
- Volunteer in Sport of the Year
- Unsung Hero in Sport Award
Nominations should cover achievements during the period 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011.
Deadline for nominations is Thursday 28 April 2011 and the Rochdale Borough Community Awards Ceremony is set to take place on Thursday 7 July 2011 at the Middleton Arena.
