Death of Stan Milburn

Former Rochdale AFC player Stan Milburn has died at the age of 83.
Mr Milburn made 237 appearances for Rochdale scoring 26 goals between 1959 and 1965. He was also part of the team which played in the League Cup Final.
A tribute has been posted on Rochdale AFC official website which reads:
“Our thoughts are with Stan’s family at this sad time and his memory will live forever in the Rochdale family. RIP Stan – a Rochdale great.”
