Fixture change for Hornets

Rochdale Hornets have received a request to move Sunday's Co-operative Championship 1 fixture at Doncaster as it now clashes with England Football World Cup game against Germany.

After consultation with head coach John Stankevitch, Hornets have agreed to the move which will see the game now played on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Doncaster feared that if they play the Hornets clash in direct opposition to the televised England game it would have a massive adverse effect on the gate.

Hornets revealed that they fully understand the pressures of running a Rugby League Club and that is why they have agreed to the fixture swap.
