Thompson signs new two-year deal

Joe Thompson has agreed a new two-year contract with Rochdale AFC. The 21-year old midfielder is the first to put pen to paper with the club after Rory McArdle signed a deal with Aberdeen and Chris Dagnall left for Scunthorpe after both players' contracts were due to expire on July 1st.
The Rochdale-born player scored 8 goals in 39 games in all competitions last season as Keith Hill’s men won promotion to League 1.
