Dagnall signs for Scunthorpe

Scunthorpe United have officially announced that Chris Dagnall will sign for the club when his contract expires with Rochdale AFC on July 1st.

He will sign a three year deal with the Lincolnshire outfit on 1 July with the option of a fourth year.

He leaves ‘Dale having scored 20 goals last season as the club gained promotion to League 1.

He found the net 60 times for the club in just over four years after signing from Tranmere Rovers.

Rochdale AFC Chief Executive Colin Garlick spoke to Rochdale Online  following the news:

"We wish Chris all the best. He was a great player for the club and will be fondly remembered. We are sorry to see him leave.

"We understand his decision to want to play Championship football."
