Toby Mullarkey has left Rochdale AFC to join Grimsby Town on a permanent deal.
The 27-year-old joined Rochdale on deadline day in January 2023, featuring in 12 games, 11 of which he started with one substitute appearance.
Rochdale AFC said that following the club's relegation to the National League, the relegation clause in the player's contract was triggered by Grimbsy.
The club thanked Toby for his contribution to the Dale cause during his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.
In a statement, Toby said: "I'd like to thank everyone involved at Rochdale AFC for my time at the club.
"Thank you for making me feel so welcome both on and off the pitch.
"The fans have been brilliant with me ever since I made my league debut against Salford, and it was a pleasure to wear the shirt and represent such a big club.
"Although my time was short, hopefully my performances reflected how much I wanted to complete the task at hand.
"I hope the club can get back to where it belongs, and I wish you all the best."
