The light southerly wind and sunshine on Sunday 27 November at the lake gave pleasant conditions for racing. It was not a surprise that Martin Brennan in his Solo took all three race wins.
The last race of the day he won by just 12 seconds, on handicap, from Richard Marsh with younger daughter Jess in the RS400.
Runner up in the first race was Martin and Rene Watts in a Merlin Rocket. There was also a close competition in the colourful RS Feva pairs. In third place, Millie Hayfield and Lauren Marsh stayed ahead of Jasper Bramwell and his brother Xavier.
In the second race, Richard and Jess Marsh took the runner up spot with the Watts in third place. Rana Din launched his Laser into fourth place ahead of the Two Fevas.
The Feva pairs swapped crews for the third race so that Jasper Bramwell sailed with Lauren Marsh, taking fourth place, while Millie Hayfield and Xavier Bramwell, perhaps confused by the course, came ashore early.
There are two more Sundays of club racing this year in this mildest of seasons.
