Stephen Humphrys leaves Rochdale AFC

Striker Stephen Humphrys has completed a transfer to Wigan Athletic.
The 23-year-old has joined Wigan for an undisclosed fee and signed a three-year deal.
Humphrys first joined Dale on loan during the 2017/18 season and then returned to the club in summer 2020 and went on to make 31 appearances for the side.
The striker's departure follows a request from Humphrys to leave Rochdale.
In a statement released by Rochdale AFC, the club said: "We’d like to place on record our thanks to Stephen for his contribution to the Dale cause during his time at the club.
"We wish him all the best for the future."
