Running: Rochdale Harriers at Salford 10k

Members of the Rochdale Harriers running team participated in the Salford 10k road race on Friday (19 April).
Brian Moore was the first of the local runners to finish with a 39:40 time.
He was closely followed by Matthew Jones in 41:57 and Ian Stainthorpe in 42:32.
Craig Wellens and Colette Cook each clocked impressive times of 55:12 and 56:35, whilst fellow Harrier Carina Haynes completed one lap of the course.
The race was commentated by Whitworth race organiser Andy O’Sullivan.
