Rochdale AFC relaunch club’s subscription lottery

Rochdale AFC have announced a relaunch of the club’s subscription lottery, renamed as the Dale Lotto, it will give Dale fans the opportunity to help raise vital funds for the club’s Academy and Youth Teams, as well as being in with a chance to win cash prizes and ‘money can’t buy’ experiences at the Crown Oil Arena.

Tony Ellis, Rochdale AFC Academy Manager, said: “By joining the Dale Lotto, you will be playing your part in helping to produce future first team players at the club.

“Your continued support is crucial as we work to develop our young players to give them the chances and opportunities to pull on that first team shirt.”

For just £2 a week fans will automatically be entered into weekly cash draws and monthly prize draws as well as receiving invitations to exclusive events at the Crown Oil Arena. Fans will also receive a membership pack and free gift.

Current paying members of the existing ‘Goldbond’ will automatically entered into the weekly cash draws, and also have the option of upgrading to the £2 a week scheme should they wish.

Ray Parry, Rochdale AFC Lotteries Manager, said: “Our existing Goldbond members are extremely valued by the club, and as such, all existing members will be automatically included in all the weekly Dale Lotto cash prize draws, so if you pay regularly to one of the club’s cash collectors or by standing order, you will continue to be entered into our cash draws weekly.

“In addition, if any existing member wants to transfer to the new scheme then please contact me at the Lottery Office.”

There are big money prizes on offer throughout the season, with £750 guaranteed in prize money each week, as well as a new weekly Rollover draw which starts at £500 and increases each week by £100 until a lucky Dale fan wins the prize pot.

In addition to the cash prizes, various member benefits include 2x free tickets to a game of choice, a club shop discount voucher and regular e-newsletters.

Dale themed ‘Money Can’t Buy Experiences’ will also be drawn each month with exciting prizes, such as a place on the new season team photo, a 12th man package, a VIP match day media experience and a place in the Boardroom on a match day.

“Rochdale AFC have always had a proud history of operating a club lottery, and as such we have teamed up with Total Gaming Solutions as consultants to the club. They work with other Premier League and EFL clubs and are highly regarded specialists in this field.

“The Dale Lotto will integrate our existing Goldbond lottery players, and we encourage as many supporters as possible to join the scheme.”
